​Equipped with a passion for the arts and many years of experience, our "team-of-two" is dedicated to using current research and respected practices, alongside our own experiences and philosophies, to provide a safe and engaging space for children to expand their knowledge and abilities, meet new friends, and most importantly - explore the arts and have fun!

"When we moved to Windsor many years ago, we could not have anticipated the impact that this corner of Ontario would have on our lives. From the people we've met and the things we've learned, to starting our own small business right here on Main Street! Meet Paige!
Co-founder of Creative Mode
Paige graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours degree in Drama in Education and Community, with a minor focus in Psychology. She then went on to study and gain experience in Early Childhood Education. In 2022, she took the leap of a lifetime and created her dream job: full-time instructor at her own arts centre!

Paige has over 10 years of experience teaching all ages, from toddlers to high schoolers, and even adults. She loves finding the fun in everything she does, and is very passionate about helping children discover not only their interests, but also their confidence!
​
Though she specializes in drama, Paige also teaches many other subjects, like music, coding, science, and more. And while she is an awesome teacher with lots of knowledge to share, she doesn't claim to know it all. In fact, she's excited to learn something new every day alongside the children she teaches in our Group Arts Programs - because children can really be the best teachers!
Meet Alex!
Co-founder of Creative Mode
Alex also graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours degree in Comprehensive Music, focusing his studies in jazz bass and piano, as well as music education. After graduating, Alex taught numerous instruments at several music studios across Windsor/Essex. In 2022, Alex co-founded Creative Mode, and is now a full-time music instructor!

Alex has nearly 10 years of experience teaching all ages, from toddlers to adults. He loves working with his students to find out what they want to learn, and helps to create personalized materials and lessons to support them in reaching their goals. Some may also say that he's a one-man band - because he has years of experience on piano, bass, guitar, ukulele, and drums!
​
On top of teaching, Alex is just as much of a performer as he is a teacher. You can catch him at various venues around Windsor/Essex and Detroit performing with bands like the Coffee House Combo or Stiletto Fire, or on tour throughout North America with the Dave Bennett Quartet!
But during the days, this well-rounded musician is so excited to teach, play and learn with his music students at Creative Mode.
